In 1996, your hosts, Jerry and Maggie Emmert decided that they wanted to build a log house retirement home. We began to look for that special piece of property on which to build. In 1997 we found this property. Maggie said "This property is just too nice to keep to ourselves, we need to share it with other people." After much discussion we decided to build a bed and breakfast lodge. During the years of 1998 and 1999 intensive planning was done, and Jerry built a model of the building. In 1999 Jerry retired and on March 1, 2000 construction was started on the new home. Jerry did a great deal of the construction himself. Five years later on March 1, 2005 we moved into our new home, the bed and breakfast lodge. Maggie continued working full-time until early 2007 when she retired. She had been a floral designer for 26 years. Our philosophy of hosting is that we want to interact with, be sociable with and visit with our guests. You will not find us hiding in our own private quarters. Maggie will prepare you a fabulous breakfast ! We will do our best to make your stay with us memorable and enjoyable ! Reservations

Valid credit card is required for room guarantee or 50% paid 1 week prior to reservation dates. This must include the expiration date and exact spelling of the card holder.

Cancelation

If a reservation is cancled 3 or more days before check in, no fee will be charged. If a reservation is cancled during the 3 day prior to check in customer will be charged for a one night stay.
